Born on January 28th 1977, Takuma Sato is veteran of open wheel racing and has years of open wheel experience. The previous series that Sato has competed in include: British Formula Three (1999-2001), Macau Grand Prix (2000-2001), Masters of Formula 3 (2000-2001), and Formula One (2002-2008). Sato lives in Indianapolis, Indiana during the IndyCar Season, but is originally from Tokyo Japan. Sato is the first person from Japan to win an IndyCar Series race. Sato is married and has two children.
