RLL announces reassigned entries for ’23 driver lineup – “Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that the team has revised the entry designation for their three fulltime programs for the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Graham Rahal will continue in the No. 15 entry while Jack Harvey will take over the No. 30 and Christian Lundgaard will pilot the No. 45 Honda-powered entry…Supermarket chain Hy-Vee will continue as the full-season, primary sponsor of the No. 45 entry as part of a multi-year agreement. Details on primary sponsorship for the No. 30 entry will be announced in the coming months. DRR and Cusick partner to enter Wilson in No. 24 for Indy 500 – “Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and Cusick Motorsports have announced a partnership today to field British racing driver, Stefan Wilson, in the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 to pilot the No. 24 Chevrolet-powered car. Dreyer & Reinbold Racing (DRR) has entered and qualified 45 cars in the Indy 500 dating back to 2000 with a best finish of fourth in 2012. Cusick Motorsports was created as a marketing and business-to-business incubator and will be partnering with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing for its third attempt at the Indianapolis 500, along with many of its long-term partners. Wilson, the 33-year-old racer, will make his fifth attempt at the Indy 500. ECR announces Pierson as development driver with eye towards 2025 – “Ed Carpenter Racing announced today a new driver development program featuring Josh Pierson. The 16-year-old will continue his ascent through the Road to Indy ranks with the intent of competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2025 with ECR. Pierson, an Oregon native, will have the guidance and support of ECR team members as he furthers his career and will be mentored by team owner Ed Carpenter. Johnson enters ownership agreement with Petty GMS and will compete in select NASCAR Cup events – “Petty GMS Owner Maury Gallagher and Chairman Richard Petty, announced today the team has entered into an ownership agreement with seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson. AMSP announces NTT DATA partnership for No. 6 and 4th Indy 500 entry for Kanaan – “McLaren Racing and NTT DATA today announced a multiyear partnership with Arrow McLaren SP beginning with the 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season on the No. 6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet, driven by Felix Rosenqvist. In addition, NTT DATA will partner with Arrow McLaren SP on a fourth car entry in the 2023 Indianapolis 500 with Tony Kanaan, who will be racing in his 22nd Indy 500. Andretti officially announces Herta and Gainbridge extension through ’27 – “INDYCAR race winner Colton Herta has signed an extension to remain with Andretti Autosport through 2027. Abel confirmed to return with Abel Motorsports in Lights for ’23 – “Jacob Abel is staying with his family team, Abel Motorsports, in 2023 for his second full season in Indy Lights. Abel, 21, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, will continue to drive the No. 51 Abel Construction entry.
